Day two, and I am already seeing patterns. The first couple of songs of the day to earworm me seem to be about my dreams or something my subconscious has been mulling over for a while. They appear spontaneously into my consciousness, with few precursors or foreshadowing. The songs that earworm me later in the day tend to be songs that I've heard recently and/or catchy songs.

Since this is day two of "You Are What You Love" by Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins, I think I should post some lyrics.

I also successfully avoided getting earwormed today! A coworker tried to make me listen to that Ting Tings song and I refused. I hope I'm not missing anything good.

I'm off to go listen to "In This Heart" and weep for lost possibilities. Should be a fun way to start the weekend.
